Cook Like a Spoon Mage™ and Look Like One Too!

How?

It’s contest time!

One lucky Mindful Palate reader will win this wonderful two pocket apron by getting creative with your spoon… and a few green beans.

The rules are simple:

1. Create a recipe featuring green beans. Any other ingredients are up to you.

2. Take a picture of your creation.

3. Email the recipe, a picture of your finished dish, your name, and email address to The Spoon Mage™. Use the subject line: Green Bean Recipe Contest.

On August 31, 2014, the Spoon Mage™ will perform a series of magical cookery tests to determine the one winning recipe!

The winner will be announced on September 15, 2014 and will receive this beautiful apron (see picture!) AND the winning recipe and image will be used as a Featured Recipe right here at Mindful Palate. The recipe will also live forever at CC Palate, a place for calorie counters to share their recipes.

There must be a second prize!

One entry will be chosen as the second place winner and will receive one of these gorgeous Spoon Mage™ totes.

Remember, the entry will only be considered if it has all four things:

1. an original recipe (this can be one you modified but it MUST NOT be from a cookery book or other website).
2. a photo of the recipe.
3. your name
4. your email address
