Horseradish Cream

Horseradish Cream WM 350Ingredients:

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup mayo
1/3 cup prepared horseradish
1T Dijon mustard
1/4 t ground white pepper
1/8 t sugar
pinch salt

Spoon Mage™ Notes:

For those that prefer only a hint of  horseradish flavor,  use only 2 tablespoons of prepared horseradish. Those that dislike mustard may reduce the quantity to 1 teaspoon.


Set a small tall sided bowl and the beaters from your mixer inside the freezer for 30 minutes.

In a separate small bowl, combine mayo, horseradish, mustard, white pepper, sugar, and salt.

Whip the cream inside the frozen bowl using the cold beaters until mediuim peaks form.

Use a rubber spatula to gently fold the horseradish mixture in to the whipped cream.  Taste and adjust the seasonings.

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or serve fresh with a Standing Prime Rib Roast or use as a spread for a seriously upscale roast beef sandwich.

Horseradish Cream is impossible to eat without going through a remarkably mindful moment.  Pause, breathe, sit back, and enjoy.
